Charter Inclusions
The charter package includes a licensed captain, crew, fuel, and provisions such as soft drinks, water, and ice.
Compliance and Regulations
The Dubai Coast Guard has established regulations that all charter companies must adhere to strictly. Guests are liable for any fines resulting from non-compliance with these rules. The captain and crew will enforce these regulations for the safety and compliance of all onboard.
- Identification Requirements: All guests must present original ID upon boarding. Tourists need their original passport, while residents may present their Passport, Emirates ID, or Driving License. Non-compliance may incur fines of up to AED 1,500 per person, charged per the damage waiver agreement.
- Alcohol and Behavior: Excessive alcohol consumption and reckless behavior may result in fines or immediate termination of the charter without a refund.
- Safety Protocols: Guests must wear life jackets when advised by the coast guard, especially during weather alerts. Swimming after sunset and beyond three meters from the yacht is strictly prohibited. Jumping off the yacht while it is moving or anchored is also not allowed and may result in termination of the charter.
- Jet Ski and Water Toys: Only water sports activities booked through Tripzzie are permitted to ensure insurance compliance. Third-party services are not allowed during the charter.
Guest Policy
- Guest Numbers: The final count of guests must be confirmed the evening before the charter. The number of guests may not exceed the confirmed amount on the day of the event.
Catering Guidelines
- Catering Confirmation: Final catering numbers are required one day before the charter. Any cancellations or changes will be charged in full.
- Bringing Your Own Food: Only dry food items such as sandwiches, pizzas, and snacks are allowed. Clients must provide their own disposable plates and cutlery.
Children Onboard
The safety of children is the responsibility of their guardians. The captain and crew will focus on navigating the vessel.
- Children under 10 must wear a life jacket at all times, as per Coast Guard regulations, regardless of their swimming abilities.
- All minors under 21 must be supervised by an adult.
- Only children above one year of age are allowed onboard.
Dress Code
Comfortable clothing is recommended. Footwear must be removed before boarding the yacht.
Damage Waiver and Liability
A security deposit of AED 1,500 is required via credit card pre-authorization or cash at the marina. This deposit covers any damages, extra services, or fines resulting from non-compliance with regulations.
- Any damage caused by guests will be assessed, and an official quotation for repairs will be provided. The amount will be deducted from the credit card on file.
- Excessive cleaning fees may be applied if required after the charter.
- Guests are liable for fines issued by local authorities due to their actions or non-compliance.
Smoking and Pets Policy
- Smoking inside the yacht’s interior is strictly prohibited; violations will lead to immediate charter termination.
- No pets are allowed onboard.
Cancellations and Refunds
Tripzzie reserves the right to cancel bookings due to bad weather, mechanical issues, or new Coast Guard restrictions. In such cases, a full refund will be provided to the client.
- Cancellation Policy:
- 50% of the booking fee will be retained if canceled within 72 hours before the charter.
- 100% of the booking fee is retained if canceled within 72 hours of the charter time.
- Client Rights: Cancellations will be fee-free if:
- Unsafe weather conditions are confirmed by the coastguard.
- Tripzzie fails to deliver agreed services.
Payment Terms
Visa and MasterCard payments are accepted in AED. Services will not be provided to countries under OFAC sanctions.
- Minors under 18 are not allowed to use or transact on the Tripzzie website.
